The next of kin needs to start informing family members and friends of the passing of the loved one.

The funeral parlour will rent the location which the next of kin wishes (preferably close to home) and set up the location. The funeral can be held at home if next of kin chooses to do so.
Most high rise residentials units do not have a location to conduct a funeral, so the next of kin will need to rent a funeral hall to hold the Wake. Nirvana is one of the leaders in the funeral service, but there are many options out there. There are temples, churches, facilities by the local town councils, cemeteries and others which can be rented for the Wake. Even Nirvana has the option to hold the Wake outside of its own facilities.
Based on the religious belief of the deceased and the next of kin, the funeral parlour will set up the location accordingly. Most funeral parlours are able to cater to Taoist, Buddhist and Christian religious preferences.
Nirvana is also able to cater for Hindu religious preferences as well. Although the Hindu priests will need to be hired from the local temples by the next of kin.
