Phase 5
After 100 Days

This is the time when the family of the deceased moves on with their lives.
The next of kin will need to work out the deceased’s debts and estates. This is done throught the legal process.
The legal process takes time, and it is important to start it as soon as possible. If the deceased has a will prepared, the process is significantly shorter. Otherwise, it may take around 6 months.
The legal process established here is really to protect the financial institutions so that the debt which is owed to them can be collected from the next of kin. That is the primary concern of the government. The remaining assets after the financial institutions have collected their debt will be distributed to the next of kin.
